And so with the resurrection of our Lord...40 days come to an end.
My commitment was to blog each and every one of those 40 days. While I am pleased with my consistency and frequency, I by NO means remained true to the promise.
What I came away with is the realization that some days I do not need to be sharing my feelings in this format. There are days I feel so raw and open (by nature) writing should MOST definitely be kept private. I also realized I want to maintain this blog, and any other for that matter, as a means of enjoyment. This began as a hobby and so it shall remain.
I may keep a few of the topics from "40 days of blogging" like Terribly Tuesday and Top Ten Thursday. I really looked forward to constructing words around those topics.
But for today, we shall end with something sacred.
After the sabbath, as the first day of the week was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, approached, rolled back the stone, and sat upon it. His appearance was like lightning and his clothing was white as snow. The guards were shaken with fear of him and became like dead men. Then the angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid. I know that you are seeking Jesus the crucified. He is not here, for he has been raised just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples, 'He has been raised from the dead, and he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him,'."
